Debulking Surgery!

When I was in the hospital for the gall bladder surgery, all kinds of specialists visited me: Cancer doctors, Respiratory doctors, Internalists and some I can't remember. I was to go home for 3 days and return for a debulking surgery. I was not quite prepared for this. I went into surgery relatively calm. They would open me up from the breast plate to my pelvis to take any cancer out they could find. I found out I had breathing problems and was on a respirator. The worst thing was the stupid hose they had in my nose to my gall bladder area to drain off bad fluids. It was gross. I couldn't talk, sneeze, cough, and mainly eat. I hadn't had a solid meal in a week. I was in for 10 days, 5 of which were in intensive care. My wonderful sister, Sandie, whom I live with, was there every day and scared. I guess I looked like death. I finally got to go home and rest. Chemo was to begin a few weeks later.
