Bambibino - Before

Well, this is me, happy, alive, 54 years old and working successfully as a Salon Manager at a locat Pet Grooming store. Before I developed health problems. Before I had my gall bladder removed only to be told "You have ovarian cancer". In my doped up state, I told the doctor "I can deal with that". Yah, sure. Simple gall bladder surgery. I argued "but I had a complete hysterectomy 25 years ago!". No matter, they left tissue in. It had spread to my peritineum. That was in March, 06. THERE IS NO CURE! Ovarian cancer is called the "Silent Killer" as it has no reliable detectiion devices and it can't be cured. Chemo and surgery simply puts it at bay for a temporary time. Please make sure to tell your friends and loved ones to get checked and ask their doctor lots of questions. Mine was never detected on any PET scans, MRI, or CR125 tests. I could have gone on for years wondering why my abdomen was swelling and I wasn't feeling well. The gall bladder surgeon saved my life. Thanks, Dr. Tyrell!
